1. What this policy covers

Cut & Collect is a casual puzzle game distributed through mobile app stores (Google Play on Android and the App Store on iOS). It is not an e-commerce marketplace for physical goods. The app may offer optional in-app purchases for digital gameplay benefits through your platform app store (Google Play Billing on Android; Apple StoreKit / the App Store on iOS). This notice explains how information may be processed on or through your device when you play.

2. Offline reading

This policy is published on the Cut & Collect website and a related version may also ship inside the application so you can read it without an internet connection. Some features, such as advertisements, consent forms, analytics, crash reporting, store billing, or optional Google Play Games / Apple Game Center features, may use the network when it is available.

3. Game modes

Cut & Collect currently includes these playable modes:

  • Original Mode — classic grid puzzle play.
  • Arrange Mode (Arrange Pieces) — rebuild the picture by arranging pieces into place.
  • Drag Snap Mode — drag and snap pieces into place.

Classic Jigsaw may appear in the app UI as Coming Soon only. It is not playable in this version and is not described here as an active gameplay mode. Mode availability, progression locks, and related features may vary by version and device. Mode names in this policy match the product labels used in the app.

4. Information processed on your device

The game is built to work primarily on-device. Depending on how you use it, Cut & Collect may process:

  • Gameplay and progress — completion status, selected mode and difficulty, timers or session metadata, resumes, progression unlock state, achievements, stats, and related settings stored locally.
  • Hint wallet data — local in-app hint balances (including hints granted from consumable hint pack purchases through your platform app store), plus free, rewarded, and Lucky Wheel hint categories where applicable; timestamps for daily free hints, wheel eligibility, and ad-based rewards; stored locally on your device.
  • Progression and reward state — Lucky Wheel spin eligibility, streak or daily-claim timestamps, Progression Center summaries, and similar local reward metadata.
  • Preferences — language, appearance, notification choices, and similar values, typically in platform storage such as Android SharedPreferences or iOS UserDefaults (or equivalent).
  • Purchases and entitlements — records of optional in-app purchases, restore status, and unlocked features (stored locally). Payment card details are processed by the store, not by us.
  • Optional platform games linkage state — whether you connect Google Play Games on a supported Android device or Apple Game Center on a supported iOS device, stored or handled according to those platform services and local app state.

5. Local database and files

The app may use a local database (SQLite) and sandboxed files on your device to store catalog references, scores, achievements, custom puzzle entries, progression data, and related game data. Core single-player gameplay does not require uploading this data to servers we operate for you to play built-in catalog puzzles.

6. My Photos and custom photos

If you use My Photos or otherwise choose pictures from your gallery or camera for custom puzzles, those images are selected by you and processed locally for puzzle creation. Custom photos are stored locally in the app sandbox on your device for use in supported modes (for example Original Mode, Arrange Mode, and Drag Snap Mode). The app is not designed to upload your custom photos to our servers for gameplay. Deleting the app or clearing Cut & Collect app data may remove locally saved custom photos and related local puzzle entries. If you share content through your device's platform sharing features, that sharing is handled by your operating system and the destination you choose — not as an upload to servers we operate for gameplay.

7. Permissions

Your operating system may prompt you to allow:

  • Photos / media library access — to pick existing images for My Photos / custom puzzles.
  • Camera access — if you capture a new picture for a custom puzzle.
  • Notifications — so the app can schedule optional local reminders you opt into (for example daily free hint reminders, Lucky Wheel readiness reminders, or resume prompts).

You may decline permissions; where possible you can still use built-in catalog puzzles. Some features will be unavailable without the needed permission. Notification permission is not required at first launch to play built-in catalog puzzles. On iOS, Cut & Collect may present Apple's native App Tracking Transparency permission request. Denying that permission does not block gameplay or other app functionality.

8. Notifications and reminders

Notifications are optional local reminders on your device. The app does not force a notification permission prompt at first install before you can play built-in catalog puzzles, and it does not use remote push / APNs for these reminders. If you enable notifications, the app may schedule local notifications on your device. Reminder types may include daily free hint readiness, Lucky Wheel readiness, resume prompts, or occasional helpful product updates you opt into. You can change or revoke this in system Settings or in-app Settings where available. The app may also show a dedicated notification opt-in screen or in-app prompt when you choose to enable reminders. After sustained optional engagement with daily hints or Lucky Wheel rewards, the app may offer a one-time deferred reminder (at most once per install) if notifications are still disabled — you may accept or decline. We do not claim to send personal advice or emergency alerts.

9. Advertising, consent, and Google Mobile Ads

Cut & Collect may show advertising through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob / Google advertising partners). Ad formats may include banner ads, interstitial (full-screen) ads, native ads, and rewarded video ads (for example to earn in-game hints or an optional extra Lucky Wheel spin). Advertising services may collect or use device or publisher identifiers, coarse location estimated from IP address, advertising data, product interaction, diagnostics, and related technical data as described in Google's policies. For more information see Google Privacy & Terms (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can limit ad personalization where your platform or Google account provides controls.

Where required by applicable law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland), Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) may present a consent form before ads are requested. In-app Settings may show Privacy & cookie settings when UMP reports that form as required. UMP consent is separate from Apple App Tracking Transparency.

On iOS, Cut & Collect may request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. The Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is available for personalized advertising and ad measurement only when you grant that permission. Denying App Tracking Transparency does not block gameplay, purchases, hints, or other app features. Ads may still be shown when permission is denied. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may use Apple SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving install attribution, and may use a publisher first-party identifier that Google states cannot be used to link activity from this app to third-party apps. Collecting data for advertising is not the same as Apple-defined tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Lifetime Premium (Remove Ads) removes non-rewarded ads only. Rewarded ads may remain available for optional in-game rewards.

10. In-app purchases and Premium

Cut & Collect offers optional in-app purchases processed by your platform app store (Google Play Billing on Android; Apple StoreKit / the App Store on iOS). Purchases may include:

  • Hint packs (consumable credits purchased through your platform store that add hints to your local in-app hint balance when granted).
  • Lifetime Premium (Remove Ads) — a non-consumable unlock that removes only non-rewarded ads and includes unlimited My Photos for custom puzzles on your device. Premium may also include additional included Lucky Wheel spins per day where the current product offers that benefit.

Rewarded video ads may remain available for optional in-game rewards even after Lifetime Premium is active.

When a consumable hint pack purchase completes, hints are credited to your hint balance stored locally on this device. Unused hint balance is not synced to a cloud account or server we operate. If you delete the app or clear Cut & Collect app data in your device settings, unused local hint balance, custom photos saved in the app, and local game progress or settings may be lost. Consumable hint packs and unused local hint balance are not guaranteed to be restored through Restore Purchases.

Lifetime Premium (Remove Ads) may be restored through Restore Purchases in the app when supported by your store account and our integration (Google Play on Android; App Store / StoreKit restore on iOS). Billing, pricing, taxes, refunds, and purchase restoration rules for each purchase type are handled under your store account and store policies. We do not receive your full payment card details from the store. Purchase and entitlement records needed to deliver features may be stored locally on your device.

We do not currently provide cloud sync, a server account, or cross-device backup for hint balances, custom photos, or local gameplay data.

11. Lucky Wheel

The Lucky Wheel is an optional in-app reward feature. Spins may grant light digital gameplay rewards such as hints or similar in-game benefits according to the current reward pool and eligibility rules. Rewards have no cash value, are not gambling, and are not redeemable for money. Spin availability, cooldowns, streak-related benefits, and optional rewarded extra spins may change for fairness, balance, or technical reasons. Premium users may receive additional included daily spins where offered by the current product.

12. Analytics and diagnostics

When analytics is available, Cut & Collect may use Firebase / Google Analytics to understand product usage at a coarse level — for example which screens or modes are opened, puzzle start/complete counts, hint usage, Lucky Wheel interactions, ad placement categories, premium restore results, and similar gameplay or navigation events.

Analytics is designed to use low-cardinality product parameters (for example mode identifiers, difficulty labels, source categories such as My Photos, and safe static route names). Analytics is not designed to collect local file paths, image filenames, EXIF or GPS photo metadata, raw custom media identifiers, payment card details, email addresses, or advertising unit IDs as analytics event parameters. The app does not set a developer user ID for analytics. On iOS, Analytics does not receive a real IDFA unless you grant Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Some analytics events require a network connection and are subject to Google's analytics and privacy terms when Firebase / Google Analytics is used.

When Firebase is available, the app may also use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and stability diagnostics to help improve reliability. Crash reports are intended to contain technical diagnostic information rather than your custom photo content.

13. Google Play Games and Apple Game Center

On supported Android devices, Cut & Collect may offer optional Google Play Games features such as sign-in, achievements, and leaderboards when configured. On supported iOS devices, Cut & Collect may offer optional Apple Game Center features such as sign-in, achievements, and leaderboards when configured. Using these services is optional. Google or Apple may process account and gameplay-related data under their respective policies. Local achievements and scores may still work on-device if the platform service is unavailable, not signed in, or not configured. Leaderboard or achievement sync may no-op when required console IDs are missing or the service is unavailable.

14. Children and family-friendly use

The game is intended to be appropriate for a general audience, including families. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use, review store parental controls, and consider ad personalization and consent settings on the device. This notice does not claim a specific children's-privacy certification.

15. Third-party services

Besides advertising networks, consent management (UMP), analytics and crash-reporting providers, optional Google Play Games, optional Apple Game Center, and your platform's app store services, the app may include open-source libraries. License texts are available under Settings → Legal & Credits → Open-source licenses in the app.

16. Retention and deletion

Local gameplay data, including your in-app hint balance, custom photos in the app sandbox, scores, achievements, progression state, and settings, stays on your device until you delete the app or clear app storage in your device settings. Unused consumable hint balance may be lost when app data is removed and is not guaranteed to be restorable. Lifetime Premium entitlements may be restorable through your app store's restore flow. We do not operate a mandatory cloud save or account sync for offline catalog play in this version, and we do not operate an in-app account deletion portal because we do not operate a player account server. Analytics, crash-reporting, and advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.

17. Your choices

You may stop using the app, uninstall it, or clear application data to remove locally stored information (including custom photos saved in the app sandbox and local databases), subject to how your operating system handles app data. In-app Settings may offer additional toggles for reminders and, when required, Privacy & cookie settings. Device, Google account, and Apple account settings may offer additional controls for ads, analytics, Play Games, and Game Center. To ask a privacy question, email support@2u.pe.

18. International users

If you use the app outside your country of residence, processing may be subject to the laws of your platform provider and third parties such as ad networks, consent platforms, analytics providers, Google Play Games, or Apple Game Center.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this text. Material changes will be reflected in the published web version and, when the in-app legal bundle is updated, may require a one-time renewed acceptance screen before continuing to use the app.
